Yes! All of our sweaters are made in Iceland without exceptions!

Around 70–90% of the store’s inventory is produced in Iceland. We aim to ensure that as much of our inventory as possible is produced in Iceland by local artists. However, some exceptions include books, T-shirts and other products that are manufactured in Europe and shipped to Iceland. Unfortunately, some items cannot be manufactured in Iceland, so we rely on imports to bring in interesting products. However, our goal is to one day have a store that is 100% Icelandic-made!

This is a beautiful shop filled with knowledgeable and passionate people! It's very clear by just having a conversation that the people who work here love their job, love the research they've done, and love communicating with new people. Cliff took the time to explain the various types of rune systems to me in depth, with intimate, unique knowledge on each system (younger vs elder vs icelandic futhark, etc). We had a very long and engaging conversation regarding Icelandic history and the different beliefs and practices of the ancient peoples- something that I haven't really found with many other similarly themed stores. Cliff, Anna, and the owner are all incredibly passionate people who took their time one-on-one to go over things with me, explain the items in their shop, help me find the exact books I was looking for, and even point me in the direction of other good museums and places to visit on the island. If you're searching for a less tourist-y shop that has friendly and kind staff, helpful and useful information, and decent prices, I highly recommend going here. Additionally, if you're interested in the more historical, anthropological, or even spiritual side of things, this place is the place to go. You won't regret it! (Posted in Google Maps)

Such a great shop on the high street. They have much more interesting things in this shop than many of the others along this street as they strive for local, authentic Icelandic goods. Cliff was so knowledgeable about Viking Runes and the history behind them, if you are at all interesting in Viking writings or culture he is the man to speak to! I found him so interesting and he was very knowledgeable about the books he recommended. He is even designing some of his own works for the shop in the future! (Posted in Google Maps)

Came here for a sweater and left with a whole new appreciation for Icelandic culture. Everyone working is extremely knowledgeable and is willing to answer any questions you may have. They have beautiful locally hand knit Icelandic wool sweaters, wonderful runes, and amazing gifts anyone would love. Cliff and Anna treated my friends and I exceptionally well and helped us learn so much about the area. Had a great experience and can’t recommend their high-quality store enough! Wow! Cliff, who is the metalworker behind the counter, was beyond helpful. We became fast friends! He went the extra mile in explaining Icelandic culture and history and was funny at the same time! He and the owner, Ethna, made our whole trip with their kindness. Check out this shop!! They’ve got some super cool authentic Icelandic jewels. (Posted in Google Maps)
